The Flames surprised everyone in week 1 by destroying ODU. Now they take their first road trip with a tough test at Army. In 2017, Army led the FBS in rushing yards while Liberty's rushing defense was one of the worst in FCS.

Hampton @ Monmouth
Hampton's offense looked great early in their season opener against Shaw. While things weren't perfect, the Pirates cruised to a 38-10 win. Monmouth went on the road last week and was smacked by Eastern Michigan 51-17. However, the Hawks played on a Friday night, so an extra day of rest could go a long way.

JMU @ Norfolk State
The Dukes' 2018 season got off to a rough start as Rashad Robinson was declared out for the year before kickoff against NC State. But Ben DiNucci answered the call throwing for 197 yards and running for 79. Despite the Spartans opening with a 34-13 win over Virginia State, QB Juwan Carter is suspended for the game this weekend.

UVA @ Indiana
QB Bryce Perkins looked great in their season opener but an road game against a Big 10 opponent will be slightly more difficult than Richmond. Indiana won last week against Florida International, 38-28, but lost running back Cole Gest for the rest of the season.

Both FIU and ODU opened their campaigns with losses, but FIU gets a slight excuse playing Indiana. ODU fans though are incredibly discouraged after losing to Liberty 52-10. With the game in Virginia Beach, the Monarchs are in desperate need of a win.

At this point, VMI's goal is just hoping to not be embarrassed. Last week's loss to Toledo was painful in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Wofford hosted conference rival and military school, The Citadel last week and picked up a 28-21 win.

Fordham @ Richmond
Richmond really struggled in Charlottesville last week, rushing for only 34 yards. On the contrary though, Fordham had -9 rushing yards. Yes, they actually lost yards after 16 rushing attempts. Both teams will be relying heavy on their passing game through the rest of the year.
